Stefan Harris scored 19 points and Daniel Melvin added 18 to lead Carver to an 85-42 win over Hardaway on Friday night.

Despite the win, the Tigers will head into the Region 1-5A tournament next week as the No. 2 seed. They finished tied at 9-3 with LaGrange, but the Grangers won the tiebreaker.

The teams split during the regular season, so the next tiebreaker is record against the next team in the region standings. LaGrange went 2-0 against Shaw, while Carver was 1-1.

Carver will have a bye in the region tournament until the semifinals, which guarantees it a berth in the state tournament.
