High school roundup: Central's basketball vs. R.E. Lee postponed
MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Alabama High School Association had already postponed the last two games scheduled for Alabama State's Acadome on Tuesday night due to the threat for severe weather.
The final game was set to be Central's 5:45 p.m. game against R.E. Lee. But when Alabama State officials decided to close the campus, the AHSAA didn't have a choice to postpone the rest of the day's schedule.
Central will now play R.E. at 8:30 p.m. Thursday for the Central Region title and a berth in next week's final four.
