The Columbus boys golf team finished second in The Invite, an eight-team event held at Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville, Ga.
Columbus shot a 10-under-par 278 on Friday in the first round, which is the best in program history, said coach Chris Parker. The Blue Devils shot a 2-over 290 on Saturday. They finished 10 shots behind Lee-Scott.
Brookstone came in sixth with round of 299 and 294.
Brookstone’s Evans Copeland finished fourth on the individual scoreboard at 6-under 138 (71-67).

Columbus was led by Ben Carr, who finished fifth at 5-under 139 (68-71).
