Calvary Christian names new athletic director
Calvary Christian School has named Ray Honea as its new athletic director.
Honea has been the middle school football coach since 2012.
He is replacing Brian Osborne, who accepted a new role as Director of Student Life. Osborne will remain as the school’s head football coach.
“We are proud to welcome Coach Ray Honea to our staff at Calvary Christian School,” Calvary Christian headmaster Ricky Smith said. “Athletics play a key role in our commitment to building young men and women of character and a biblical worldview. Ray will lead us well to advance our mission through athletics. As a veteran, his experience as a warrior will set a solid example for our students and coaches to follow.”
Honea retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service.
