High school roundup: Chadwick homers, leads Northside to win
Jada Chadwick homered, doubled and drove in three runs Thursday to lead Northside to a 9-1 win over Hardaway.
Raelee Weaver allowed one run on four hits and struck out eight to pick up the win.
Ciara Jesus also had two hits for Northside.

Marlisa Scott, Anna Runyon, Emily Davis and Raleigh Williams each drove in three runs Thursday to power Columbus to a 20-4 over Carver in a game shortened by the mercy rule.
Scott had a double and a triple in the game.
Avery Hooper allowed two runs on two hits and struck out two in getting the win.

Madison McPherson threw a four-inning perfect game Thursday as Marion County defeated Brookstone 13-0.
McPherson struck out eight and walked none. She faced the minimum of 12 batters and nobody reached base. She struck out the side in the first and third innings. She threw 38 strikes in her 56 pitches.
Marion got all thirteen runs in the first inning of a game shortened by the mercy rule. Ansley Whitley had a grand slam for Marion.
