Anthony Moore scores 35 as CVCC downs Shorter

The Chattahoochee Valley Community College men’s basketball team opened its season with a 101-94 victory over Shorter JV on Thursday night.

Anthony Moore (Central) scored 35 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. He was one of three CVCC players with double-doubles. Jordan White (11 points and 10 rebounds) and Tim White (11 and 15) also accomplished the feat.

Lederrius Jones added 14 points and nine assists.

CVCC will play at Middle Georgia Prep in Barnesville on Monday.
