High school roundup: Carter, Fanning lead Harris over Kendrick 46-33
Jessika Carter and Taziaha Fanning each had a double-double to lead Class 5A No. 10 Harris County to a 46-33 win over Class 3A No. 7 Kendrick on Monday at the Columbus Classic Shootout.
Carter had 20 points, 17 rebounds and seven blocks. Fanning had 18 points, 16 rebounds and five blocks.
Kiara Price had 14 points to lead Kendrick. Cudrea Veasley also had a double-double, scoring 12 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. Jada Minor had 10 rebounds.
