High school football scores: One area team falls, one advances in state semifinals

Here are high school football scores and schedule from the Chattahoochee Valley:

Scores and schedule

• Callaway lost a heartbreaker to Brooks County 39-35. The Trojans advance to the GHSA 2A state championship at 1 p.m. Dec. 13 at Georgia State Stadium. The Trojans will face Dublin, which beat Thomasville 55-45.
• Marion County defeated Pelham 42-25 thanks to a late fourth-down stop and a late touchdown by Trice McCannon to seal the game. The Eagles face undefeated Irwin County, which beat Clinch County 36-0, at 10 a.m., Dec. 14 at Georgia State Stadium in Atlanta.
