The prep football season has concluded, and several area teams had state championship appearances.
Central, Marion County and Glenwood each made their respective state championship games.
Marion fell to Irwin County, Glenwood lost to Bessemer and Central lost a state title rematch with Thompson.
Carver’s season ended with a loss to Marist in the sweet 16 of the 4A playoffs.
