Ledger-Enquirer names 2020 All-Bi-City Girls Basketball Team, players, coaches of the year
Fresh off a career season and an invitation to the since-canceled McDonald’s All-American Game, it’s clear to see why Olivia Cochran is the All-Bi-City Player of the Year for the second year in a row.
Cochran led Carver to the Final Four, where the Tigers ultimately lost to state runner-up Troup. But Carver wasn’t the only area team to see major success in 2019-20.
Central made the Alabama 7A Final Four and Glenwood made the AISA state championship game, though neither could pull off the win. Several players’ efforts were rewarded, though, with spots on this year’s All-Bi-City team.
