The first weeks of playoff high school prep football in the Chattahoochee Valley are in the books.
The season has not started ideally for Central, which dropped to 0-2 after losing a shootout to Eufaula.
The Red Devils face Smiths Station, which lost Friday to Gardendale, this week.
Meanwhile, at Glenwood, head coach Jason Gibson has his Gators firing on all cylinders. The Gators beat Escambia Academy Friday night, improving to 2-0 on the young season.
