The Columbus girls soccer team hosts Creekview tonight at 6 p.m. in a GHSA Class AAA state semifinal game at CSU.
Here's a link to Creekview's website, and it's got quite a bit of info on the team. There are links to all the newspaper stories and television reports on their playoff games.
It looks like they have a couple of players who can do some serious offensive damage, with two of them scoring four goals in a single game already this postseason. For more on how Columbus hopes to handle that, check out Wednesday's edition of the Ledger-Enquirer for a full story.
Columbus has plenty of offensive firepower, too, led off by Madison See, who I think I've seen score a goal from about eight different spots on the field since the playoffs started.
Assuming both portions of the bracket were reasonably similar as far as the level of play goes, I think Columbus might have an advantage as they have not yet given up a goal while Creekview has not had a shutout in the playoffs yet.
Should be a good game.
