High school roundup: Brookstone sweeps Dooly County 15-0, 15-0
Brooksone swept a doubleheader from Dooly County on Wednesday at home, winning both games by a count of 15-0.
In addition to the 30 total runs scored by the Cougars, they allowed just one hit over the course of the two games. In Game 1, Trey Lingo went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and Sam Lowe went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs. In Game 2, James Sherrer drove in three runs, and Perk Swift and Drew Webb drove in two.
Banks Massey got the one-hit win in four innings in the first game, while Culver Norred and Drew Webb combined for a three-inning no-hit shutout in the second.
