Blair Harrison to run offense at Hardaway

Former Brookstone coach Blair Harrison has joined the football staff. He will be the new offensive coordinator under new coach Michael Woolridge.

Harrison drove into town during the team’s spring practice and is making the move permanent this week.

Harrison most recently served as athletic director at St. Martin’s Episcopal School in Metairie, Louisiana.

“It was an awesome feeling the first day to walk out there,” Harrison said. “The kids were great and Coach Woolridge was great. I didn’t think it would happen, but it’s been wonderful. I can’t wait to join these guys full time.”

Harrison said the plan is to run his offense like he has at all of his stops, a ball control, clock-controlling attack.

“We want to control the clock and keep the defense off the field,” he said. “Limit our penalties and mistakes and just grind it out. With the weapons we have, it’ll be real exciting for me and the fans.”
