Southeastern Amateur starts today

Fifty-two players will tee off this morning vying for three openings in the 2016 Southeastern Amateur.

There are seven local players in the qualifier. They are KJ Lee, John Calhoun Jr., Walker Hinds, Nolan Miller, Austen Fulmer, William Reaves and Jack Stumpfig.

The Southeastern Amateur, with an 84-man field, will start on Wednesday. The final round is scheduled for Saturday.
