Two locals teeing off in U.S. Junior Amateur qualifier

Evans Copeland (Brookstone) and Ben Carr (Columbus) are scheduled to tee off Monday morning in the U.S. Junior Amateur qualifier.

The 36 -hole event is being hosted by the University of Georgia course in Athens.

Four players from the field of 90 will qualify for the 69th U.S. Junior Amateur, which will be played July 18- 23 at the Honors Course at Ooltewah, Tenn.
