Jordan Hall of Fame selects four for 2016 enshrinement

The Jordan athletic hall of fame announced the 2016 class of inductees, selecting four former Red Jackets for enshrinement this year.

The class includes Walter Buce (Class of 1956) for track and football, Dan Storey (Class of 1961) for track and cross country, John David Allen (Class of 1967) for football and track and Greg Wright (Class of 1968) for football.

The induction ceremony and dinner will be held on Aug. 16 at the St. Luke Methodist Church ministry center, located at the corner of 11th Street and 3rd Avenue in Columbus.

The cost to attend the ceremony and dinner is $30 and may be mailed to the JVHS Athletic Hall of Fame, P.O. Box 1456, Columbus, GA 31902. Checks should be made payable to the JVHS Athletic Hall of Fame.
