Northside softball opens season in big way
Northside opened the 2016 softball season with a pair of wins in the Carrollton Tournament on Friday.
The Lady Patriots beat Mt. Zion 13-2 and Chapel Hill 3-0.
In the opener, Jordan Wells hit a pair of home runs and finished with five RBIs. Jada Chadwick had a pair hits and three RBIs.
Northside is scheduled to play three more games in Carrollton on Saturday, starting against South Paulding at 9:30 a.m.
