Parker Derby, James Clark conclude play in U.S. Amateur
The U.S. Amateur experience for former Brookstone golfers Parker Derby and James Clark came to an end after the stroke play qualifying rounds at Oakland Hills Country Club.
Clark shot a 72 on Tuesday to finish at 5-over-par 145. The Georgia Tech golfer finished in a tie for 126th.
Derby, who now plays for College of Charleston, shot a 76 and finished at 8-over 148. He tied for 185th.
Only the top 64 of the field of 312 qualified for the match play portion of the event. There was a 23-way tie for 57th at 2-over 142.
