Missed extra point spells the difference for Harris County, Smiths Station

Cal’Von Harris scored a touchdown to give Harris County the lead for good, and the Tiugers held on for a 17-16 win over Smiths Station on Friday night.

Smiths Station climbed to within a point with a late touchdown, but the Panthers couldn’t convert the PAT after a bad snap..

Key play: After driving 63 yards in the fourth to score a touchdown, Smiths Station just needed the extra point to tie the game in the final minute. However, the snap was bad and the last ditch effort failed allowing Harris County to escape with the win.
