Quick facts

Coach: Michael Woolridge, first year; 0-0 at school, 0-0 overall

Assistant coaches: Blair Harrison, offensive coordinator, Zachary Schrage, defensive coordinator, Damien Daniels, Brian McCluskey, James McGee, Brian Vogler, Rick Iden, Chris Leisendahl, Reggie Toney, Anthony Gibson, Dwayne Burkes

2015 record: 1-9, did not make playoffs

Region: 1-4A

Breaking down the team

The Good: Dominique Ford got his feet wet at quarterback as a freshman last year and showed good ability. Marco Lee rushed for nearly 1,000 yards and will be back in the running game. A solid core and 13 total returning starters make this team look well ahead of last year.

The Bad: But the team did go 1-9 last year. And it did lose its last nine of the regular season, including scoring just 28 combined points over the final seven weeks. There are clearly some holes on this team that need to be fixed before we can start talking about them as top contenders in region play.

Our take: The good thing is that there is some fresh perspective in the program. New coach Michael Woolridge has an his impressive staff. With former Brookstone coach Blair Harrison in the mix, along with other familiar faces, the pieces are there to get the ball rolling.
