Jordan begins the Justin Newman era

Breaking down the team
The Good: The strength of this team is likely in its skill positions, particularly at wide receiver. DeAndre Snead, Lorzie Meadows and Emmanuel Mann will provide talented targets for Darren Lewis to throw to throughout the season. Also, the defense features some good experience, both on the field and at defensive coordinator in DeAndre Bowman. That will help, too.
The Bad: The team lost arguably its best player from last year, Romello Kimbrough, to a transfer. The Red Jackets will have to make up for the production he was able to have by himself, which are big shoes to fill.
Our take: Jordan will undoubtedly take some time to get everything together. There is talent on this team that could result in some success or positive strides in the right direction, but the players need to buy in to what new coach Justin Newman is doing right away.
