WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — The second-round matches at the U.S. Girls Championship were postponed Thursday after continued rain made the course unplayable.
Columbus' Stacey Kim was scheduled to play Pearl Jin of San Gabriel, Calif. Instead that match is now scheduled to begin Friday at 7:45 a.m.
Kim was one of the golfers to wait through three stoppages of play during Wednesday’s first round. She went to beat Susana Benavides of Bolivia 5 and 4.
