Area 1-AAAAA volleyball tourney gets underway at Northside

The Area 1-AAAAA tournament tips off at Northside today.

The No. 2 seed, Northside plays No. 7 Hardaway at 5 p.m. At the same time, No. 3 Harris County plays No. 6 Carver.

At 6 p.m., No. 4 LaGrange plays No. 5 Shaw. The two losers from the 5 p.m. games play at 6 p.m.

Top-seeded Columbus plays at 7 p.m. against the Shaw/LaGrange winner.

The winners of the 5 p.m. games also play 7.

The tournament concludes on Thursday at Columbus High.
