James Clark finishes Eastern Amateur tied for sixth

James Clark (Brookstone) finished in a tie for sixth Sunday in the 2016 Eastern Amateur.

Clark, who now plays at Georgia Tech, shot a 2-under-par 68 in the final round to finish at 8-under 272.

He tied with Nick Stafford of Belmont Abbey.

Joey Lane of Virginia Tech won the event at 14-under after he shot a 5-under 65 Sunday.

The tournament was played at Elizabeth Manor Golf & Country Club in Portsmouth, Va.
