Man killed in deadly shooting on 4th Street in Phenix City

Police say they are investigating after a man was found dead on a Phenix City street late Wednesday night.

Officers say they were called to the 1000 block of 4th Street South at 9:51 p.m. to find 19-year-old Montravious Hartman lying on the roadway with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Phenix City Police Department is investigating the death as a homicide and officers are requesting that anyone with information about the incident contact Investigator Roberts at 334-448-2841 or Lt. Lassiter at 334-448-2837.
