Columbus pizza and pasta buffet closes its doors on Airport Thruway
A buffet restaurant that served pizza and pasta for more than 15 years in Columbus has closed its doors for good.
Stevi B’s Pizza Buffet, located at 2301 Airport Thruway in Harmony Place shopping center, shut down operations a few days ago. It was part of a kid-oriented chain that allows customers to build their own pizzas and feast on a buffet that includes pasta, salad and desserts. There also was a game room for entertainment.
“After many wonderful years of serving the Columbus community, it's with heavy hearts that we announce that we will be closing our doors. Thank you to all of our customers that became family,” the eatery said Monday on its Facebook page.
It recommended that fans of Stevi B’s find a location near them via the corporate website. That looks to be a location at 1067 Bullsboro Drive in Newnan, just south of Atlanta.
There were mixed reviews of the business recently on Google. “Great place for buffet pizza. Taste great and good selection of pizza,” said a local guide named Joel McClendon. “Used to go here a lot but last time we came the drink machine had slimy stuff coming from the faucets. Can't imagine how long you would have to go without cleaning for that to occur. Disgusting and unacceptable. Won't be back,” said Jess Nichol, another guide.
