Hilton Avenue update: Three loud explosions, officers move toward house
5:30 p.m.: According to a Ledger-Enquirer reporter on the scene, police are attempting to communicate with the suspect over a megaphone or loudspeaker.
5:20 p.m: According to Mayor Teresa Tomlinson, three flash-bangs were deployed. It is an ongoing situation.
Flash-bangs are used to confuse and distract a suspect, Tomlinson said.
Shortly before 5 p.m., three loud explosions were heard and over a dozen SWAT team members were seen moving toward the Hilton Avenue house.
The homeowners are safe and with police.
