Almost a million without power in Georgia; here’s where they are in Columbus area
As of 5:34 p.m., Statewide, 914,780 Georgia Power customers were without power. While the statewide number is rising, Muscogee County numbers are dropping. 17,184 of 86,325 Georgia Power customers in Muscogee County (20 percent) were without power, according to the company’s website.
As of 1:46 p.m., More than half a million Georgia Power customers were without power in as the effects of Tropical Storm Irma customer.
As of 1:36 p.m., 26,207 of 86,325 Georgia Power customers in Muscogee County (30 percent) were without power, according to the company’s website. In Harris County, 5,715 of 8,486 customers were without power (67 percent).
Statewide, 495,853 Georgia Power customers were without power, 20 percent of the customers in the state.
The Ledger-Enquirer has received reports of customers losing power, regaining power, losing it again and regaining it again this afternoon.
As of 1:16 p.m., Muscogee County had 20,123 Georgia Power customers without power, 23 percent of the Georgia Power customers in Muscogee County. Harris County had 5,146 without power, 61 percent of the Georgia Power customers in Harris County.
As of 12:36 p.m., Muscogee County had more than 6,000 reported customers without power, according to Georgia Power.
