Officials release name of woman killed in industrial incident in Cusseta

Regina Elsea has been identified as the 20-year-old woman who died early Sunday after being critically injured Saturday in an “industrial accident” at Ajin USA in Cusseta, Ala., Chambers County Coroner Jeff Jones confirmed.

Maj. Mike Parrish with the Chambers County Sheriff’s office said authorities said they were called around 11 a.m. Saturday to the Cusseta Industrial Park after the woman was critically injured at Chambers County 177.

She was transported to the East Alabama Medical Center but later flown to UAB hospital, where she died Sunday morning from related injuries, Parrish confirmed.

Further details concerning the incident have yet to be released.

Established in 2008, Ajin USA is a subsidiary of the Wooshin Industrial Co. LTD, headquartered in South Korea. It produces automotive parts.
