Opelika police trying to identify two suspects in Wal-Mart theft

Opelika police reached out to the public Tuesday afternoon for help identifying the two people accused of using a stolen card to purchase and gift cards from Wal-Mart.

The incident happened May 26 at the store at 2900 Pepperell Parkway, according to a news release from authorities.

One suspect was described as an overweight black woman between 30 and 40 years old. She was last seen wearing a purple dress.

The other suspect was a black man between 30 and 40 years old. He was dressed in a white shirt and black pants.
