Police: Man kidnapped woman, two boys from Columbus hotel before Amber Alert

The 32-year-old man arrested Sunday morning in the abduction of a woman and two boys allegedly kidnapped them from the Clarion Inn on Manchester Expressway, authorities said.

Joey Faulk was taken into custody Sunday morning in Spanish Fort, Ala. He will be extradited to Columbus to face three counts each of aggravated assault and kidnapping.

Columbus police were called to the Clarion Inn at 2800 Manchester Expressway around 10:07 p.m. Saturday to investigate a kidnapping.

It was reported that a woman and her two sons were forced into a vehicle at gunpoint and driven off the premises. She was found safe in Spanish Fort.

An Amber Alert was then issued for the boys, 1-year-old Hayden Faulk and 5-year-old Brantley Faulk. Around 10 a.m. Sunday, they were found safe in the same city.
