Columbus man charged with statutory rape, child molestation

A Columbus man has been arrested on an outstanding warrant for statutory rape and child molestation.

According to a police report, Leon Arbertha Wyatt, 42, was arrested Saturday and taken to the Muscogee County Jail.

No details about the crime were given.

He is scheduled to be in Columbus Recorder’s Court Monday at 9 a.m.
