Homeless woman struck man with vehicle at Wilson Homes, police say
A homeless woman was charged after she allegedly struck a man with a vehicle Wednesday morning at Wilson Homes on Eighth Avenue, according to Columbus police.
Quintivia Ford, 22, was taken into custody on the scene at 8:44 a.m. Wednesday and charged with aggravated assault and third-degree child cruelty. She was booked into the Muscogee County Jail.
Officers were called to the Wilson Homes apartment complex at 3400 Eighth Ave. around 8 a.m. Wednesday to investigate an incident where a pedestrian was struck with a vehicle.
Police said further investigation indicated that Ford intentionally struck a man with a vehicle. A child witnessed the incident, according to a police report.
No further details have been released.
