Melvin Avenue victim suffered gunshot wound to the head, coroner says
Chief Deputy Coroner Freeman Worley said on Monday that a preliminary autopsy report says Tommy Marshall suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
On March 23, family members found the 51-year-old Marshall dead in his home at 214 Melvin Avenue at 4:52 p.m. He was pronounced dead at 5:59 p.m. by Worley.
Homicide investigators were on the scene and the death remains under investigation.
