Police in West Point, Ga,. are investigating the report of a home invasion Sunday night.

According to an official report, the crime occurred around 7:30 p.m. at a house on Frank Hall Jr. Street.

Held by gunpoint were a man, woman and 8-month-old child.

The man said that at one point a silver and black semi-automatic pistol was pointed at his face.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

The man told police that one of the invaders was a light-skinned black male, standing 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11. He had a goatee and a low haircut with sideburns. He had a gold-plated teeth grillz in his mouth. He was wearing a brown Carhart jacket.

The other was a dark-skinned black male standing around 6-foot-2. He had a low haircut. He was dressed in all black.

Police believe the invaders knew the victim.
