Columbus man killed in triple shooting on Easter
A 24-year-old Columbus man was shot to death early Easter morning at 480 Andrews Road.
Muscogee County Chief Deputy Coroner Freeman Worley said Alec Spencer of Columbus died at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Hospital.
Worley said Spencer was pronounced dead a 4:46 a.m.
Worley said two other people were shot.
Police Lt. Greg Touchberry said one is in stable condition and the other is in critical condition.
Worley said police got the call about three people being shot at 3:56 a.m.
Touchberry said that an argument had begun in a building and shots were fired. The situation escalated out into the street and more shots were fired.
Spencer’s body will go to Atlanta for an autopsy.
