Opelika police seek two suspected Wal-Mart shoplifters caught on camera
Opelika, Ala., police are seeking the identity of a man and woman accused of shoplifting in April from the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 2900 Pepperell Parkway.
Police Capt. Shane Healey said the incident happened on April 26 around 8:30 p.m. He released images Wednesday morning showing the two allegedly exiting the store with $544 worth of stolen merchandise concealed in a large gray plastic bin.
The first suspect was described as a black man who is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt and blue jeans.
The second individual was described as a black woman who is about 6 feet tall and weighs 190 pounds. She was dressed in a white shirt and tan shorts.
