From Savannah’s cemeteries to Lake Lanier’s mysterious drownings and even tales of Central State Hospital (mental institution) in Milledgeville, Georgia, has the creep factor figured out.
So, it is no surprise that some of the best and most terrifying horror films and shows were shot right here in the Peach State.
Throughout its filming history, Georgia has seen creepy creatures such as magical witches, bloodthirsty vampires and relentless psycho killers.
Halloween is creeping up on us, so if you haven’t seen these films, grab some popcorn and take a seat — if you dare.

The Walking Dead (2010-2022)
