‘Kegnog,’ anyone? Here’s a list of Columbus restaurants serving up holiday-themed items
The season of eggnog, fruitcake and other Christmas goodies is finally here.
Those who want to celebrate the festivity with delicious food — and support local businesses — have quite a few options in the Columbus area.
Many restaurants are serving up specialty holiday items, or even full menus, throughout December.
Here are a few of them:

The Bakeshop by Fountain City Coffee
Located inside Banks Food Hall, 1002 Bay Ave., The Bakeshop has a full holiday preorder menu available now through Dec. 23. The menu includes holiday favorites such as pumpkin pie, shortbread and 6-, 8- and 10-inch cakes.
Outside of preorders, the shop also sells holiday-centered items such as peppermint mocha and ginger spice cupcakes.
DIY Cookie Decorating Kits are also available for $24.
The Bakeshop’s December drink specials are the fuzzy bear latte (caramel, maple and hazelnut) and the snowball (white chocolate and peppermint).

Trevioli Italian Kitchen
Trevioli Italian Kitchen, 7466 Blackmon Road, is offering preorder family meals in time for the holidays.
The restaurant’s Family Meal choices, which range from chicken Alfredo to “Cajun mac,” are available for pickup from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Christmas Eve.
Each item is available hot or cold and includes Caesar salad and bread. The full menu is posted to Trevioli’s Facebook.
Golden Donuts
Fans of sugary breakfast snacks are in luck: Golden Donut is selling several special menu items for the holidays.
Holiday Dozens are $13, according to a post from the shop. It’s also offering peppermint chocolate doughnuts, which are available through Christmas.
Nonic Beer Bar & Kitchen
Those wishing for a boozy Christmas drink can stop by Nonic, 1239 Broadway, and sip away at one of “Saint Nonic’s Famous Kegnog” drinks.
The drinks are $10 and come in original, pineapple or coconut flavors, as well as a vegan option.
Houlihan’s
Sip on holiday-themed spirits at Houlihan’s, 800 Front Ave., now until Dec. 31.
The restaurant is serving three holiday-centered cocktails: cranberry spritzer, a sugar cookie martini and gold rush.
Vertigo Fusion Kitchen
Continuing the cocktail train is Vertigo Fusion Kitchen, 117 12th St., which is serving a special drink just in time for the holidays.
It’s called the Coquito cocktail, and consists of spiced rum, coconut rum, coconut milk, evaporated milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and more.
Minnie’s Uptown Restaurant
Catering slots are “filling up quickly,” according to a post from Minnie’s Uptown, 104 Eighth St.
Menu options include the restaurant’s famous fried chicken, rotisserie chicken and butter peas.

Parker’s Pantry
Midtown eatery Parker’s Pantry, 1815 Garrard St., is serving a special December sandwich.
It includes sourdough bread, Boars Head EverRoast chicken, cheddar cheese, bacon, barbecue sauce and ranch. The sandwich is served hot-pressed.
