Egg prices are soaring in Georgia. Where can you get the cheapest eggs in Columbus?
Egg prices in Columbus, Georgia, and across the nation, have skyrocketed, leaving consumers scrambling for affordable options.
The average price for a dozen large, grade-A eggs in Georgia has risen to almost $6 a dozen, marking a staggering 43.61% increase from last year at this time.
While on the hunt for the cheapest egg prices in town, I discovered there is clearly a shortage in Georgia. There were noticeably empty shelves and store workers seemed incredulous about when the situation may right itself.
I checked the websites of six local stores to see how much a dozen Grade-A large eggs are going to cost the average Columbus egg lover. I tried to include the prices of the store brand as well as the leading named brand.
Walmart
