Ready for a foodie adventure? Over 25 gourmet food trucks will be at this Columbus event

Uptown Columbus, a nonprofit organization promoting the downtown business district, will kick off its spring events season with a favorite for Chattahoochee Valley foodies.

The 13th annual Food Truck Festival will be conducted March 29, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., between Woodruff Park and Dillingham Street Bridge.

The festival will feature more than 25 gourmet food trucks from around the state, beverages and an all-day DJ. Uptown Columbus communications and marketing director Tracey Green shared a short list, previewing some of the confirmed vendors, with Ledger-Enquirer. They are:

Vendor applications are still open. The full list of vendors will be announced closer to the event on Uptown Columbus’s Facebook page.

The regular admission price is $5, but children ages 10 and younger are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance on Eventbrite or at the gate the day of.

Green said proceeds will help Uptown Columbus host more free events throughout the year.

“Uptown is excited to kick off spring events for the community,” she said. “These events are a fun way to get community members to connect and come together for fun.”

Uptown Columbus will provide a limited number of tables and chairs for seating, but guests are welcome to bring collapsible, tailgate-style chairs, according to the event’s website.
