Taking mom out to eat? These 6 Columbus restaurants have Mother’s Day specials
Mother’s Day 2025 is upon us as restaurants across Columbus prepare special items and brunch menus for the influx of families honoring matriarchs.
Cheesecakes, cocktails and seafood are among some of the “must-have” options at some local restaurants.
Residents interested in dining out this weekend should call ahead to check on reservation availability and hours of operation.
Here are six Columbus restaurants celebrating Mother’s Day this weekend:
Wicked Hen Restaurant & Lounge
Wicked Hen is not taking more reservations for Mother’s Day, however walk-ins are accepted. The restaurant’s Mother’s Day menu will be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Reservations still were available for Friday and Saturday as of Wednesday.
Seafood is the go-to for Mother’s Day at Wicked Hen with options including the Surf and Turf, featuring a filet and lobster tail, and the Fire-Grilled Scamp Grouper.
The restaurant also offers a mimosa special.

Metro Diner
“Go bananas” is the theme for Mother’s Day at Metro Diner, which has included banana-based menu items among its “must-have’s” for the holiday.
The restaurant’s brunch menu offers Banana Bread Pancakes, Banana Bread Waffle and Banana Bread Bread Pudding.
These sweet items will be available at the restaurant for a limited time.
Metro Diner is in the Landings Shopping Center at 5524 Whitesville Road.
Saltcellar and Mabella Midland
Saltcellar and Mabella Midland, both owned by Uptown Life Group, will host Mother’s Day brunches from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The “can’t-miss” items from Saltcellar include the Vanilla Bourbon French Toast and the Butterfly 75 cocktail. Mabella customers are encouraged to try their desserts, including Classic Tiramisu, Chocolate Mousse and Beef Tenderloin with Horseradish Cream.

Dishoom Bistro
Dishoom Bistro, which offers fine dining with North and South Indian Cuisine, also offers complementary desserts for every mom on Mother’s Day.
Moms can choose between Pistashio Cheesecake and Sesame Caramel Cheesecake.

The Food Mill
Although The Food Mill will not be open on Mother’s Day, the restaurant will offer a special brunch Saturday in honor of the holiday.
Brunch will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with limited items for Mother’s Day including Strawberries & Cream French Toast and a Spring Harvest Salad with mixed greens tossed and strawberry dressing by Fitzgerald Farm.
