Greek restaurant chain expanding to Georgia with new location in Columbus
A new restaurant is coming to Columbus.
Acropolis Taverna, a Greek cuisine restaurant chain based in Tampa, Florida, is preparing to open a new location. The opening date has not been disclosed as of publication.
The new restaurant will be at 6701 Veterans Parkway, Suite B., next to the Chevron Pamir Market.
The 1.27-acre lot was purchased by Habiba Investments LLC of Peachtree City, Georgia, in 2021, according to the Columbus Consolidated Government’s property records.
The Columbus location is one of two Acropolis Taverna restaurants set to open soon in Georgia. The other location is in Atlanta, according to their website.
A representative from Acropolis Taverna did not respond to the Ledger-Enquirer’s request to comment before publication.
