New Mexican restaurant in Phenix City to offer meals ‘without breaking the bank’

Interior construction is underway for a new Mexican restaurant in the Columbus area.

Saborcito Mexican Cocina is scheduled to open in November in Phenix City at 3462 Crosswinds Drive, Suite C, off Highway 431.

The restaurant’s owners, Jose Altamirano Jr and Modesto Crecencio Torres, sent a Facebook message to the Ledger-Enquirer, explaining what customers can expect.

“At Saborcito, guests can look forward to authentic Mexican-style seafood, fusion dishes, unique, strong margaritas, and all the classic Mexican restaurant favorites served in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere — all without breaking the bank,” they wrote in the message.
