We asked you to choose the Columbus restaurant with the best dessert. Who won?

The Ledger-Enquirer asked readers which restaurant in the Columbus area has the best dessert. The results are in.

Hudson’s at Main Street, 6298 Veterans Pkwy, has won the poll with 31% of the 68 votes among the 12 nominees.

We started this project by asking our readers in a survey last month for their nominees. Then, from Aug. 26 to Sept. 1 at noon, readers voted in the poll for their favorites.

The runners-up were BlueSky Icecream and Hotdogs, 2420 Hamilton Road, with 22% of the votes and Country’s Barbecue, which has three locations in Columbus, with 15% of the votes. Here are the complete final results:

The weekly cheesecake selection at Hudson’s at Main Street was a popular selection among L-E readers.

One reader, Cheryl Sanders, sent this comment about their cheesecakes: “They always have the most delicious selection of cheesechakes that change weekly!”

The owners at Hudson’s at Main Street did not respond to the Ledger-Enquirer’s requests for comment.
