Columbus Clingstones unveil new food menu options for upcoming 2026 season

New food options ranging from familiar favorites to unique culinary creations are coming to Columbus minor league baseball fans this upcoming season.

The Columbus Clingstones, the Atlanta Braves Class AA affiliate, unveiled Thursday a list of new items coming to Synovus Park 16 days before the 2026 season.

“Looking at our new menu, we wanted to have some classic ballpark favorites and then also some new, fun and unique items,” said Alex Little, district general manager for Denver-based Oak View Group Hospitality.

The new menu items are: beef cheesesteak, chicken cheesesteak, peach hand pies, bacon cheeseburger, garlic knots, loaded pulled pork nachos, triple play potatoes and rotating homestand burgers, starting with a burger called the Hot Jam Slam.

Our review of Columbus Clingstones new food menu items

The beef cheesesteak was phenomenal. The beef was salty and peppery with just the right amount of give in each bite. The onions and peppers added a vibrant flavor, and the white American cheese was creamy when melted into the meat on the hot sandwich.

The garlic knots were soft with the subtle flavor of garlic, which wasn’t too overpowering to where it would leave you with heartburn. The marinara sauce had a slightly acidic flavor and a gentle aftertaste that paired nicely with the garlic knot.

The loaded pulled pork nachos were amazing with the chipotle crema stealing the show in the dish. The chipotle crema added an earthy and smoky flavor with a slight kick. Paired with the mild pico de gallo, tender pulled pork, slightly spicy jalapenos, smooth queso blanco and crispy chips, it’s definitely a dish you’ll want to try.

The dish is a new take on the pulled pork nachos from last year, featuring a different flavor profile from the peach-themed nachos last year, topped with charred peach pico, pickled red onions, cilantro, house-made peach BBQ sauce and queso blanco.

However, by far, my favorite new menu item was the triple play potatoes: crispy red potatoes topped with three-mustard aioli, creamy feta cheese and chimichurri sauce.

The potatoes were indeed crispy and held their shape without getting soggy. The three-mustard aioli was milder in flavor and didn’t overpower the flavors of the other ingredients. The feta cheese was indeed creamy and added a little more of a pungent cheese flavor. I’m a sucker for chimichurri sauce. It added a perfect herbal flavor with a slight peppery aftertaste.

Lastly, the Hot Jam Slam comes with two beef patties on a croissant bun with jalapeno blueberry jam, bacon, melted brie and fresh arugula.

I’m always hesitant when I see jams on burgers. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I bit into the burger and tasted a rich blueberry flavor that was perfectly offset by the spiciness from the jalapeno to where they canceled out and left me with a very pleasant symphony of flavors.

The bacon kept its form and was crispy and smoky. The arugula also added a nice crispy texture with a peppery taste. The melted brie was also a very nice addition to the burger.

I can full-heartedly say Clingstone fans and any other game attendees are in for a treat this season when they buy food at Synovus Park.
