Restaurant on Broadway in Columbus permanently closes. What we know
A chain restaurant’s location in downtown Columbus has closed.
The Barberitos at 1012 Broadway was removed from the locations list on the corporate website. It’s unclear what caused the closure and how many employees have been affected.
Barberitos, however, still has one location left in Columbus. The restaurant at 5592 Whitesville Road remains open, according to the corporate website.
The local franchisee and the corporation did not respond to the Ledger-Enquirer’s request for comment before publication.
Barberitos, based in Athens, Georgia, has over 40 locations across the United States, with 19 locations in Georgia.
