After this Columbus restaurant closed, the property now is being sold
Two weeks after the Wild Wing Cafe closed in Columbus, the property is being sold.
Sanjay Choudhury, who owns the property where Wild Wing Cafe operated, 6525 Whittlesey Blvd., announced the sale on Facebook. Choudhury is looking for interested buyers or local real estate agents to help sell the property.
“Contact me for details or to schedule a tour,” Choudhury wrote in the post.
The lot size is 4.56 acres, and the building comprises 5,986 square feet, plus an additional 800-square-foot patio, according to the post.
Choudhury confirmed in a Facebook comment that the property is for sale, and the business can be included in the final purchase. The asking price is available upon request, he said.
Choudhury did not respond to the Ledger-Enquirer’s request for comment before publication.
What happened to the Wild Wing Cafe in Columbus?
Mak Son, owner of Spudzilla, 6600 Whittlesey Blvd., and Wild Wing Cafe, announced the closure of both restaurants on their respective Facebook pages March 30. He wrote that, due to health challenges, he has decided to shut down operations.
“I appreciate all those who came through and supported the last few months,” Son wrote. “I tried really hard to make it work, but unfortunately, due to my current conditions, I can’t give WWC the love and attention it needs to flourish at the moment and would rather shut it down until I’m able to do so.”
Son has deleted the post from the Facebook page for Wild Wing Cafe, which remains open in Opelika. A similar message was still available on Spudzilla’s Facebook page as of publication.
Son reopened Wild Wing Cafe on Dec. 3, 2025.
