Why this Columbus restaurant has temporarily closed

Country’s Road Buffet, 2509 Airport Thruway in Columbus has temporarily closed for expansion, according to a notice posted on the restaurant’s door.

The sign says the buffet closed temporarily as of May 18 and asks customers to “look for re-opening dates soon.”

“We look forward to seeing you at the re-opening,” the sign says.

The restaurant also shared photos of its addition and expansion on its Facebook page April 27. No reopening date was announced as of publication.

Representatives of Country Road Buffet did not respond to the Ledger-Enquirer’s request for comment before publication.
